Panasonic is pleased to announce that the digital still camera Lumix DMC-TZ3 received prestigious EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) Award for the Best Compact Camera through 2007-2008.

EISA is the unique association of special interest magazines from 20 European countries. In June each year, the editors-in-chief from all EISA member magazines meet to decide which of products analyzed in their publications during the past year deserve the coveted EISA Award in the field of Audio, Video, Home Theater, Photography and Mobile Electronics. There is no doubt that this EISA Award falls on the products that are declared outstanding above any other ones in that field.

“The Panasonic DMC-TZ3 is a very compact camera with a sharp 28-280mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens. As the 28mm wide angle and 10x zoom range cover every popular focal length, this is a great camera for travelling and for holidays. The AF system is fast and responsive, while the optical image stabilizer permits using the telephoto settings without a tripod. The nickname ‘Traveller’ is very well chosen.”
