View HD Photos on a Large-Screen HDTV

Enjoy viewing High Definition 1920 x 1080 pixels images with a 16:9 aspect ratio on your living room's large-screen HDTV. By simply inserting an SDHC/SD Memory Card containing your photos into an HDTV equipped with an SDHC/SD slot*, you can view pictures of family and friends, and images of memorable moments, with crisp clarity and power. Let the high-resolution images of your large-screen HDTV transform the room into a photo gallery, and gather around to share the excitement.

*The SDHC Memory Card can be used only if the SDHC logo is indicated on the equipment or in the operation manual. It cannot be used with equipment that supports only the SD Memory Card.

HD PHOTO

What’s HD Photo?

They're images for viewing on a TV screen in 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution and a wide 16:9 aspect ratio.

They let you view full-screen 16:9 images of people and memorable moments.

What's HD?

HD stands for high definition. It is often used when referring to TV standards. The maximum resolution for digital broadcasting is 1920 x 1080 pixels. The latest TV models are designed to take advantage of this high resolution.

In other words... You can view your photos with the highest possible resolution for each HDTV.

View HD Photos on an HDTV with No SD Slot

With the optional Panasonic HDTV Photo Player DMW-SDP1, you can view HD photos on an HDTV that isn't equipped with an SD slot, by simply connecting the DMW-SDP1 with a component cable.* Just like LUMIX cameras, the DMW-SDP1 includes the Venus Engine III imaging engine, which enables extremely quick advancing from one slide to the next. It also lets you play motion images.**

* Included in DMW-SDP1.
** Recorded with a LUMIX camera.
